Intern

Hello, my name is Michelle.  I truly understand the courage it takes to reach out and ask for help. I value interacting with anyone at this moment in their journey.  Grounded in psychodynamic theory, I approach clients humanistically and consider their struggles through multiple lenses. Further work in attachment theory, emotion focused therapy, and narrative therapy led me begin training as an AEDP (Accelerate Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist. I am currently certified at Level I with the AEDP Institute.

Regardless of theory, my most important goal is to create a trusting and nonjudgmental space for a client to express their feelings, thoughts, fears, struggles, and concerns. I believe that is the key to helping a client discover their deepest selves. I bring decades of life experience, both personal and professional, into my therapeutic presence and feel truly privileged to have begun a second career in a profession dedicated to transforming lives.
