T'onna Logan

RESIDENT IN COUNSELING

Therapist

Hello! My name is T’onna Logan.  I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and currently practicing as a Resident in Counseling, working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  I completed my Bachelors of Arts at Norfolk State University in Psychology.  After this I went on to pursue my first Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage & Family Therapy followed by my 2nd Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Life is hard at some point for everyone, and seeking help can be even harder.  However, I am a firm believer that we as people do not have to fight through life battles alone. For that reason, I am here to help! I have a passion for helping others who want to help themselves. I use a client centered approach in the counseling room that allows the client to lead.  I use therapy models such as Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, along with other approaches as I realize that all clients are not the same.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who seek counseling for a variety of issues such as regulating moods, anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, grief, family conflict, and much more. Along with my professional experiences, I too have experienced and conquered many life experiences that have enhanced my empathy, understanding, and competence to assist others with their obstacles.  I provide therapy and telehealth therapy which provides my clients with the comfort of getting the help they need in the environment they are most comfortable.  Most importantly, I provide a comfortable environment that makes the counseling process inviting to those in need. Together we can work through your difficulties and find solutions that allow you to heal, grow, and bring balance back into your life.
