Cloey Bibbs

Clinical Mental Health Intern

Intern

Hello! My name is Cloey Bibbs. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am currently registered as a Trainee for Qualified Mental Health Professionals through the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions. I am currently pursuing the LPC licensure through VCU’s Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program.

If you need help with moving towards a more positive outlook on life, self-love, adopting a growth mindset, and your overall healing, you have come to the right place! I am passionate about helping support adults struggling with poor body image, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life challenges, and self-esteem.

My therapeutic approach is Person-Centered, and I practice a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Therapy can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. Self-exploration and growth can be intimidating, but I can reassure you that these feelings are normal, and you are already making progress! I am LGBTQ+ affirming, and I am here to meet you where you’re at. It would be an honor if I would get to join you as we walk down this path together.
