Hello! My name is Cloey Bibbs. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am currently registered as a Trainee for Qualified Mental Health Professionals through the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions and am working towards LPC licensure through VCU’s Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program.
If you need help with moving towards a more positive outlook on life, self-love, adopting a growth mindset, and your overall healing, you have come to the right place! I am passionate about helping support adolescents and young adults struggling with poor body image, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life challenges, self-esteem, and grief.
Through approaches such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, we will work collaboratively as a team to meet your desired goals.
Therapy can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. Self-exploration and growth can be intimidating, but I can reassure you that these feelings are normal, and you are already making progress! Having an empathic and understanding mental health counselor who will provide unconditional positive regard no matter where you are in your healing journey is vital for optimal and long-term growth.
