Hi there! My name is Becca Gregory, and I am currently working on a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Before attending VCU, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2024, with minors in Psychology, Disabilities Studies, and Sociology. After completing my Master’s Degree, I plan to pursue LPC licensure.

My background in human development has helped me understand how people grow and change across the lifespan, enabling me to meet people where they are in their unique stages of life. I have participated in research on topics such as: Postpartum Mental Health, Eating Disorders, and the challenges facing LGBTQ+ youth, all of which have expanded my awareness of the importance of strength, resilience, and compassion in every space.

I believe therapy is a vital resource. Mental health challenges touch every community, and many of us face uncertainty in our lives as we grow and transition. My main goal is to bring patience, open-mindedness, and positivity into every interaction--working to create a safe, brave space where people can feel seen, supported, and empowered. My approach draws from a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Attachment Theory, all within a strengths-based and trauma-informed framework. I am passionate about working with youth and adults, collaborating to make meaningful change happen. I hope together we can work towards growth and healing, celebrating progress and wins along the way!
